Located in the heart of Birmingham Icomm Technologies is a business-only IT solutions provider. We provide our services to businesses ranging in size - from one to several hundred users.
Icomm Technologies is a young dynamic company who is looking to expand its sales force thanks to an increase in sales of 40%. We supply hardware, software, IT support and solutions to our clients, and as a Microsoft Certified Partner, a large percentage of this is for Microsoft’s Small Business solutions. We currently employ a team of 35 people.
This is a business focused role that involves developing new customer accounts and continued management of them in order to maintain a long term relationship and continued business.
Job purpose
The candidate will be expected to sell support, maintenance, IT Solutions and IT equipment to SMEs based in and around the Midlands. The position is both office and field based, and will involve cold calling, through to sales and account management as part of building a good working relationship with clients.
Candidate
We are looking for ambitious team players that are dedicated to getting results and hitting targets, and who are willing to work overtime when appropriate. Experience in a similar role is expected, however we are also considering people who have had at least 2 years of Telesales experience in the IT industry - with some face to face contact, and who are looking to progress into more of a mixed role.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in selling support, hardware, software and Microsoft solutions to small-medium sized businesses.
Skills and Experience required
- They must live with-in 1 hour of Birmingham City Centre.
- Have a clean driving licence.
- Confident and target driven with the will to succeed.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a thoroughly professional approach.
- Good commercial acumen.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Proven record of account development.
- Confident in building relationships with potential clients and managing their account professionally.
Salary and benefits
Candidates with a proven track record, £18-30k + car + Laptop, OTE £45-60k
Candidates looking to migrate from telesales, £17-18k + car + laptop
