Located in the heart of Birmingham Icomm Technologies is a business-only IT solutions provider. We provide our services to businesses ranging in size - from one to several hundred users.

Icomm Technologies is a young dynamic company who is looking to expand its sales force thanks to an increase in sales of 40%. We supply hardware, software, IT support and solutions to our clients, and as a Microsoft Certified Partner, a large percentage of this is for Microsoft’s Small Business solutions. We currently employ a team of 35 people.

This is a business focused role that involves developing new customer accounts with the primary objective of selling support contracts for Microsoft based networks and printers within the West Midlands.

Job purpose

The candidate will be expected to sign up new IT support and maintenance customers from with the Birmingham and Midlands SME Business community. This role is customer facing however the successful candidate will be office based whilst not seeing prospective clients. This role is 100% New Business.

Candidate

We are looking for ambitious team players that are dedicated to getting results and hitting targets, and who are willing to work overtime when appropriate. Experience in a similar role is expected.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in selling support and maintenance in a wholly new business environment.

Skills and Experience required

  • They must live with-in 1 hour of Birmingham City Centre.
  • A full, clean driving license.
  • Confident and target driven with the will to succeed.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a thoroughly professional approach.
  • Good commercial acumen.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Proven record of New Business Accomplishment.
  • Confident in building relationships with potential clients and managing their account professionally.

Salary and benefits

£18-30k per year, OTE of £45-60k, company car + Laptop
